Has been running dutifully since spring 2009. The fans started coming on even when the unit was on line power indicating the batteries were starting to go. After replacing the batteries the unit is quiet again.

Rack mountable, sturdy/durable
Didn't like my generator very much.

I've also purchased other CyberPower units for a home theater and other computers and have not problems as long as I don't short change their compacity.

I've owned this unit for over three years -- long enough to be thinking about replacing its batteries. The bottomline is it works in an area with unreliable grid power. The voltage boost is great as my window AC is also on this circuit. Dual computer is also a plus.
Not full sinewave, but CyberPower has a newer unit with that too. When I replace this unit, I'll purchase that one.

Dependable, I prefer CyberPower to other UPS brands.
No USB ports, just serial... barf... Device is rack mounted, obviously for business application, but software is designed for home computer. Not sure if it will even work on Windows 2012 server...

This UPS works very well for the application I have it set up as. I have already maxed it, but it has kept my systems from the trama of the local power company's poor power quality.

This system is an excellent UPS for a home or small business environment. I have this racked and powering 4 high powered servers (Xeon class dual, with 1-8 hard drives in the servers) and have no real problems with this, it is great for cleanly shutting down the systems on a low power situation.
The system load meter doesn't reflect the information provided by a UPS client (NUT on linux in this case) in which the load is stating to be critical on the UPS. If you don't have a monitoring program you risk if you overload it, it shutting the power off to the ports to prevent other problems, and...

I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Price is low given the capacity
I agree with the review by Christopher. We run this in a rack at approximately 75% load. When power goes out, the entire UPS shuts down almost immediately and will not restart on its own when power is restored; pretty much defeating the purpose of the device.

I got this unit for my home rack, my servers are not eating too much power so the load meter is at minimum, not sure how long it will stand with this low load. Need to test the cable interface.

I plug it and everything works out of the box, lot of watts!

PC software could offer more options and controls.

I've only had one short outage since installing this mammoth beast. My main PC is an entertainment unit. This supported an AMD 8130/ 32 gb ram/ 10Tb raid array/ 46" HDTV/ Bose sound system for twenty minutes. I had planned to let it run till the system died, but for not.
Darned if this thing isn't way heavy. I guess that's what it takes, though.

I've owned one of these since Jan 2006, and it still works great, with the original batteries no less. This unit has been in daily use the entire time. Pretty amazing.
The only minus is that the unit can make a pretty loud hum when the printer is in use. Oddly the hum/buzz mostly happens after the main printing is done. It's enough to vibrate the ups case strongly, sounds bad, but does not seem to cause issues.

I bought this unit back in 2005 if memory serves correct from another site for ~$200 on sale, still going strong 8 years later. Primarily used in my bedroom, now in the living room to power a desktop, 46" tv, PS3 & onkyo 7.1 system. I have never had to replace the battery. What more can you ask for?
Hums loudly sometimes, might just be that the unit is pretty old at this point.
