I unfortunately had it stolen from by a person I was staying with. After owning it for about 4-5 years I was very upset about the situation but it happened and I couldn't change the facts at the time so I have to live with it. I will own another soon.

Let me start by saying I no longer own the 1 I use to have. CyberPower CP1200AVR 1200VA 720W 8 Outlets UPS. I bought this model above years ago. I had it for many years without issues other then software that I only tried once on an xp pc and it had to many bugs back then so I uninstalled it and ran...
The software at the time wasn't the best. I'm not knocking an egg off for it though cause I didn't care 1 way or the other about the software. all it really did was give you a batt level indication, an on screen notification when power went out and pc was running from the battery which the ups would...

In 2009, I had everything including my cable internet going through this thing. I bought them recently and DID NOT have my speakers plugged into it. A big thunder boomer came through and fried the speakers the sound chip, and one of the NICs on my EVGA 680i.

I bought the current model at the time with a new build in 2007. It has backed me up in several outages and protected my system during storms.
None.

I've been using this UPS for ~4 years now with no problems. It's battery backup has saved my work multiple times. I've never had any hiccups, issues, or kinks resulting from it for these 4 years.

-sufficient backup for high end pc, single monitor and basic accessories. Allows for 7 minutes of battery power before shutting down -simple design, blends in wherever I put it -effective and reliable

Only problem I ever really had with this unit was the software that came with it. Not sure if it was a conflict with something on my pc or the software itself. I used it till it caused trouble and then uninstalled it about 2 weeks after instal and just been using the unit without the software ever...

I have used this for many years and it's still hooked to my pc now. Started with an Hp Pavilian that I added a 500W PSU to, nVidia GF9800Gtx GPU, 2 DVD+/- Dual layer/format drives, Creative SB Audigy, 2Gb Corsiar Ram, 7in1 Media card Reader, Floppy Drive and a 19" LCD Monitor.
Can't afford to upgrade my current pc and buy the big brother of this one in hopes it works as good as this unit has over the past 8+ years.

I spent about $900 for my six CyberPower BC1200 units and expect them all to work as advertised and without problems or spontaneous shutdowns that end the life of the unit(s).

Very responsive. No power drop-outs, provides power no matter what the situation is. I like the voltage readouts and load meter in the monitoring software.
Bought six of these when I needed to replace my battery backups in 2006...three of them died a few weeks ago. They just shut off (not at the same time, within a few days of each other) while running on a regular day. They seem to be undetectable by the computers at times.

I bought this a little over 3 years ago from my local BB, and it just quit working a few days ago. There was no power outage, it was clear calm day, and I was just sitting at the desk using the computer and it shut off. I can turn it back on, and it will just shut right back off.

Good run time. I usually give it 5 minutes to see if the power is coming back on, then shut down, but the longest I ever let it run after a power outage was about 15 minutes. That was with an AMD 64 X2 4400+, 2GB RAM, 2HD's, GeForce GTX 260 and a 22" LCD.
It died a few months after the warranty expired. I'm don't like the Power Panel software that you have to install if you want to monitor the UPS or have it shut down your computer.

Low cost, nice design, dependable, generous capacity for the cost.
It doesn't have an LCD display on the front like some of the other CyberPower batter backup units, despite the description. I almost returned it for this reason, but figured it wasn't worth the hassle, although I miss the display.

Got this to keep a home server running when the power goes out. Got to use it several time so far. Keeps the pc running for more than an hour almost 2 and shuts it down safely if power doesn't come back on. Good to plug a lamp into to get some light as well :-)

Price and performance are both good.
